Community Guidelines

Social Ascend is a place to build real confidence and social skills. The community section works only if everyone feels safe and respected. These Community Guidelines apply to everything you post — community posts, comments, replies, reactions, profile content, and messages. They are part of our Terms & Conditions.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
What's Not Allowed
You may not post, share, or transmit content, or behave in ways, that are:
- Harassment or bullying — targeting, intimidating, demeaning, or stalking anyone.
- Hate speech — attacking or dehumanizing people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristics.
- Sexual content or exploitation — pornography, sexually explicit material, sexual content involving minors (which we report to authorities), or non-consensual intimate content.
- Threats or violence — threatening, glorifying, or inciting violence or harm against any person or group.
- Self-harm content — encouraging or glorifying self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or other dangerous behavior.
- Harmful "advice" — coercive, manipulative, predatory, or non-consensual tactics toward others. Confidence and dating coaching here must respect consent, honesty, and the dignity of others.
- Illegal content or activity — promoting illegal acts, regulated goods, fraud, or scams.
- Misinformation that causes harm — including dangerous health claims.
- Privacy violations — sharing someone's private or identifying information ("doxxing") without consent.
- Impersonation — pretending to be another person, brand, or Social Ascend staff.
- Spam and manipulation — repetitive, off-topic, deceptive, or commercial spam, scams, or platform manipulation.
- Intellectual property infringement — posting content you don't have the rights to.
What We Expect
- Treat others with respect, even in disagreement.
- Give support and honest feedback without tearing people down.
- Keep advice grounded in consent, respect, and integrity.
- Protect your own privacy and others' — don't share personal details that could be misused.
Reporting and Blocking
We give you tools to keep yourself safe:
- Report — every post and comment has a Report option. Use it to flag anything that breaks these Guidelines. Reports are reviewed promptly.
- Block — every user profile has a Block option. Blocking stops that person from interacting with you.
We act on reports of objectionable content and abusive users by removing the content and ejecting the offending user, generally within 24 hours of becoming aware. You can also email us at contact@aelotech.com.
Content Moderation
We use a combination of automated filtering and human review to detect and remove objectionable content. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or permanently ban accounts at our discretion. We may also report illegal content (including child sexual abuse material) to law enforcement and relevant authorities.
Enforcement
Depending on severity, violations may result in content removal, a warning, temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. Serious violations — such as threats, sexual exploitation, or content involving minors — result in an immediate permanent ban. Our enforcement decisions are final.
AI Chatbot
The same standards of respect apply to your interactions with the AI coaching chatbot. Do not attempt to use the AI to generate prohibited, harmful, or illegal content. Misuse may result in loss of access.
Changes
We may update these Guidelines as the community grows. The "Last Updated" date will reflect any changes, and continued use means you accept them.
